My approach to therapy is client-centered, collaborative, and grounded in real-life experience. I believe that healing happens in safe, supportive relationships, and I work to create a space where clients feel comfortable being fully themselves—without judgment. I draw from a range of evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), strengths-based interventions, and mindfulness-informed strategies, while tailoring my approach to each individual’s unique needs and goals.  With experience across schools, intensive in-community work, and outpatient group settings, I’ve supported individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. I value authenticity, trust, and humor in the therapeutic process and view each session as a chance to explore, grow, and move forward—at your pace.

Our First Session

Clientele & Specialties

Our First Session

Our first session is all about getting to know each other and creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and respected. I’ll ask some questions to better understand what’s bringing you to therapy, your goals, and any important pieces of your story you’d like to share. There’s no pressure to dive too deep right away—we’ll go at your pace

Our first session is all about getting to know each other and creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and respected. I’ll ask some questions to better understand what’s bringing you to therapy, your goals, and any important pieces of your story you’d like to share. There’s no pressure to dive too deep right away—we’ll go at your pace.

We’ll also talk about what therapy might look like moving forward, answer any questions you have, and make sure it feels like a good fit. Most importantly, I want you to leave that first session feeling a little more hopeful and a little less alone in whatever you’re facing.

There’s no such thing as a ‘bad kid’—just angry, hurt, tired, scared, confused, impulsive ones expressing their feelings and needs the only way they know how. We owe it to every single one of them to always remember that.
